Out every night no matter what the weather to feed the homeless and wild critters.  Fatty the raccoon hasn’t been out the past couple of days because of the cold.  Saw 2 huge possums with white strips down their backs.  They’re shy and fearful like the homeless cats, but I see them sneaking a peak to see when I leave so they can get some food.  Feeding the birds on my windowsill and tossing food down to squirrels and birds.  Those crazy-smart blue jays wait every morning for peanuts.
Have been trying to befriend homeless cats, so they could be rescued, but so far to no avail. Can’t afford to do anything else.  If they’d trust, I can bribe my vets to take them.  One got lucky and is now living in luxury in Manhattan.  Curse the scum apes who throw them out – they’re not lost, but tossed away.  I’m lucky that there are not many where I am.  Will try to TNR – but it’s hard. Spend everything on my darlings. Looks like Gabriel may be hyperthyroid; Willie is, but hasn’t been treated yet and I don’t know how I will manage it as he’s a feral dummie.  You’d think after all these years he’d be used to me by now, but no. Oh well, life goes on.

Just stopped by to stick in a quick post.  2012.  Life and death never stops.  My little Tatiana, RIP.  My little Ariel, RIP.  All of 2011, I was waiting with bated breath for my little Griselda to pass from her bad heart.  She’s still ticking away.  I’m praying she lasts a while longer, as losing the others was very hard.  Tatiana on 11/11/11 and Ariel on 01/07/12.  Ariel was the hardest.

Still working on the writing.  If anyone is a worse procrastinator, I’d like to know.  Will put up a short story and maybe some poems while I work on longer stuff (if I can concentrate on one at a time).  Tired of sending out stories.  I want to go the self-pub route, Smashwords, Amazon, etc.

Will pop in some political rambling one of these days.

Must revamp this blog to reflect L.A. Mahoney the writer/scribbler.  Am working on book, etc. to publish in ebook format (Amazon, Nook, Smashwords, etc.).  Hope to buy a decent digital camera in 2012 and publish some poems/flash fiction with pics on this website.  I see there are a few humans (or whatever) who have passed by.

As for my politics:  I’m hopeless, swinging wildly from Democrat to Republican.  They both suck.  I believe that corporations own politics and are solidifying their power as they globalize and free themselves from governments.  Still believe we are entering into a hi-tec dark ages and hell is coming.  I can see a future similar to the Star Hunter series (on Hulu).

These ongoing notes (currently under the POLITICS page) are just the beginning of what I believe is happening on this planet, and which I also believe is absolutely being ignored, whether through ignorance or deliberate myopy by the right and left media talking heads.  Once put together in a cogent, coherent essay, will then find a home …

Forced the barbaric Japanese whalers to suspend their slaughter of whales – even if only temporary.  These activists embody what humanity should evolve to become!

Haven’t updated in awhile.  Took off the ads as was making no money – talking into the void, which is fine really.  BUT when I did a search for the blog, what should appear but an ancient post entitled “monetizing” — sounds like conspiracy to me.  So, maybe for the time being I put ads back – useless, but as long as they’re free.  Until I get my own website, which is probably best as that should get rid of the “conspiracy search” or will it?
