In the meantime, everyday news headlines spin past faster and faster as the world whorls into a long hi-tech dark ages: war, pandemics, population skyrocketing and plunging, blind Gaia destroys all in the process of culling (eliminating?) homosapiens, who will only survive as a transbio – new humans capable of traversing the galaxy without dragging the earth behind them (i.e., no eating, peeing, pooping, breathing O2). Ah, such a long trek to go through hell. How many centuries?
